First Beautiful Fall Weekend!

This was a magnificant weekend! The sky was blue, the air crisp, and the temperature where you nearly need a sweater! Saturday, we did our usual errands. Saturday night, Laura and Dennis headed off to the Columbus Crew game to cheer on our soccer heros to victory over the LA Galaxy. Of course there is also the added plus of seeing Beckham play with LA. Mom and Dad went to the Euchre Group to spend the evening playing Euchre and attempting to rack up enough points in the scramble to be declared the winner. Well, the girl from Queens had a 74! That was enough to be declared Champion for this month! Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Sunday, we all headed down to Hocking Hills to settle Mom and Laura into the Farmhouse, a quaint house in a quiet setting for a couple of nights. After a lovely barbeque, courtesy of Dad manning the grill, the boys headed home. We girls spent the next 2 days hiking, exploring, and bonding in Hocking Hills. We hiked through Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, and the Rock House. The scenery in the mountains was spectacular. It was a lovely weekend.
