Humdinger of a Week!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
Rus is now employed as a consultant for A.E.P!!!
That's right, blogger fans! Rus started a job at AEP this week! The building is right down by the airport (so any of you planning on coming into Columbus, the shuttle service is up and running!) We celebrated this weekend by going to dinner with some neighbors to the Winking Lizard (where, coincidently, Dennis is taking the World Tour of Beers!) We had a lot of laughs with good food, a variety of world beers and helped Dennis in his quest to taste 100 World beers by December with a little help from some friends (drinking on his card). We are very happy and very relieved. Also this weekend, the Vigilone family came to Columbus to visit on Sunday from Port Matilda, PA. Some of you may remember the lovely, former Ms.Robertson, fondly known as Hazel to her friends, from GNR. Her two beautiful boys, Sammy and Owen, and her handsome husband, Joe, spent a few hours with us on Sunday morning. It was wonderful to see all of them. To add to this seemingly never-ending excitement, this evening, as we sat talking about our day and eating dinner a few hummingbirds stopped by to sample Koch's Hummingbird Gourmet Cuisine! It was apparently a big hit because one [or many...not sure since they all look alike :)] continued to visit our feeders for over an hour. Now before this tips off a slew of emails about the Family Famous Estes Park, Colorado Hummingbird Snapshot Contest (LOL), we don't have the number or the variety seen in Colorado. Nonetheless, it was still a thrill to have hummingbirds find us and feed just outside our window here on the prairie! Here is a picture of one of our visitors! I win this time for sure! ROFL
